There were over 50 people at the event to hand in the petition. Thanks to all who turned up. Thanks also to Amy Mulvihill from Educate Together, and to the following public representatives for joining us: TDs Ruairi Quinn, Mary Upton, John Gormley and Chris Andrews TDs, Cllr Eoghan Murphy (FG) and Labour councillors Kevin Humphreys, Maria Parodi, Rebecca Moynihan and Dermot Lacey. Over 300 people signed the petition, which has now been given in to the Minister for Education & Skills’ office.
